Registered counsellors with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA)

Ryan Scanlan

Ryan began his career in the business world acquiring a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Business (Real Estate). After travelling the globe in search of deeper fulfilment, he discovered his true purpose of helping men navigate their unique challenges. Now a dedicated and registered counsellor with PACFA, Ryan holds a Masters Degree in Counseling. Ryan’s professional experience spans from adolescent, adult and eldery within the clinical and school sectors.

As a male counsellor, Ryan understands the unique pressures and challenges men face. Society often expects men to carry their burdens quietly, leading to isolation and frustration. He offers a distinct advantage as a male therapist who can relate on a deeper level – because he’s been there. In the work together, you’ll feel heard, supported, and encouraged in a judgment-free space. Ryan’s approaches incorporate a range of methodologies, including but not limited to person-centred therapy, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing.
